PoisePath runs on cloud transcription and models, so it cannot be free, and it will not be a one-off purchase. Beyond that, we would rather work out pricing with the people using it than announce a number we have to walk back.
Nothing is charged during the controlled beta. Billing runs in a sandbox—there is no card to enter and no trial to cancel.

Is PoisePath available now?
Not publicly. A working macOS prototype exists and is entering controlled beta with a small first cohort. The browser experience is a demo, not the main product.
What is the setup like?
The first cohort is Apple Silicon only. macOS asks for Microphone permission, and Screen Recording if you use the coding-screen feature. Hearing the interviewer also requires BlackHole, a virtual audio driver; there is a wizard, but it remains the roughest step.
Does it hear the interviewer?
It can listen to a device you select. Capturing meeting output on macOS needs BlackHole. Verification for Zoom, Teams, and Meet is still underway, and that is one of the specific things we need testers for.
Is it hidden from screen sharing?
The desktop app includes best-effort content protection with an explicit reveal control for demonstrations. Results depend on macOS and the exact capture path.
Can it invent experience for me?
It should not. PoisePath is designed to ground suggestions in evidence you provide and preserve labels that distinguish launched work from internal, staged, planned, or paper-only work.
Can I use it in any interview?
No. Use PoisePath for practice, accessibility, or live assistance that the relevant interviewer, employer, school, or platform allows. Disclose assistance when their rules require it.
